About Eastern Washington
Guides and Echkternkamps Guide Service

Aaron Echternkamp's love for the outdoors was obvious as a kid; he
would fish from daylight to dark and hunt anything in the family back
yard. According to Aaron, his parents had to pry him inside to eat
and sleep. He started hunting with his dad at age six, and they read
him the hunter's safety test because he could not read yet! In the
sixth grade Aaron landed his first trophy steelhead - 23.18lbs. At
age fourteen he was driving a 20ft bass
boat with 235hp engine, and won his first tournament that year. These
days, they won't let you fish without an adult till age eighteen.
These are
just a few things that have motivated Aaron to learn more and
more each day. Since the age of ten, he's been
on Potholes Reservoir or any of the rivers around fishing or hunting
every weekend. He seems to get more addicted each year trying to perfect
each sport. Now 32 years old, Aaron's been guiding for fifteen years
and has a beautiful family that all enjoy the outdoors with him. He
will be fishing the FLW tour ever start tournaments this winter after
hunting season and looks forward to hunting and fishing with his two
sons as they grow older.
Aaron thanks God every day for his family and the
things that the Lord put on this earth for us to catch!

| Warren Echternkamp also
has a love for the outdoors. So much in fact, that you can occasionally
find Warren chasing a little white ball around the fairways (although
occasionally he has to hunt for THAT!). Warren is about the most
personable person you could ever meet. Aaron says "I have never met
anyone that did not love him, he is such a crack up." Warren grew
up in the Sequim WA, area and was hunting ducks as an early teen,
he is now living in Moses Lake and works from the house as a furniture
rep. he is always looking forward to hunting season. |

Eric Martinez was
born and raised in Moses Lake, WA. and started waterfowling at
the age of twelve, and instantly
became addicted to it as the years passed. Eric
attended college in Eastern Oregon for three years and returned
to Moses Lake to get married and currently has a beautiful daughter
(aka daddy's little goose). When Eric is not engaged in family
activities, he chases big game with a
bow, as well as big fish ( Moses Lake carp). Eric hopes
to continue to show people what is so beautiful about fall and
winter, but hismain goal in life is to give youngsters the
opportunity I
have been blessed with.

Kelly Ross is
a twenty five year old local Royal city boy. Kelly has
been hunting and fishing on the Potholes Reservoir since he was
knee high to a grasshopper. Kelly started guiding at the age
of seventeen. His love for hunting keeps him out there 7days
a week. WeI think it’s
the Duck kabobs and wine that he's after. Kelly is a great duck
caller and has goose calling down to a science. As usual, he's
waiting for October's fowl weather to start up.
